Noelle’s First Easter

Maybe Noelle wanted to be extra rested for today, but she slept a full 12 hours last night!  I put her to bed at 7pm and she didn’t wake til 7am this morning.  Though she’s too young to understand, this morning I told her the story of Jesus’ resurrection then played my favorite worship song, Hosanna, on repeat while twirling with her in my arms in the living room.  It was our own intimate way of worship.  Thankful for His sacrifice…

I see the King of glory
Coming down the clouds with fire
The whole earth shakes, the whole earth shakes

I see His love and mercy
Washing over all our sin
The people sing, the people sing

Hosanna, hosanna
Hosanna in the highest
Hosanna, hosanna
Hosanna in the highest…

She’s too young for easter bunnies, colored eggs, and egg hunts, but there will be plenty of time for that in years to come.  That didn’t stop me from dressing her up in a semi-bunny outfit though.  You can’t really see the bunny ears in this pic but they’re there.
